Sacred Knight (Champion of Torm Properties)

The deities of Glorwing have a set sphere of influence, a philosophy of their own, and sets of rules and laws their followers must abide by. Every follower either lives up to these expectations or they face whatever punishment the respective deity intends to mete out.

The Sacred Knights of the Church embody the very teachings of the deity, live them in every thought, word, and deed, and serve as the shining example of how to perfectly embody the will of the deity through their very existence.

While the goals and methods of the Sacred Knights are as varied as the deities themselves, they share one common bond: Warcraft. Every Sacred Knight is trained in all aspects of combat and spends a great deal of time learning the techniques of war. They are also imbued with the power of their deity, giving them the ability to survive things that others would not.

The Sacred Knights of the various deities fill roles such as Temple Guards, instructors in the arts of war, Avengers that seek out those that transgress against the God and administer punishment, or wanderers that lend their hand to whatever goal suits their own whim and those of the God they serve.

Every Church or temple of large size has a cadre of Sacred Knights to train those that seek to follow the same path and carry out the Churches business. The Sacred Knight must receive extensive religious instruction from their Gods clergy in addition to their combat training, and they invariably spend many hours in prayer and meditation proving their loyalty in thought as well as deed. The training techniques are jealously guarded, and as such lone instruction outside of a Church environment is nearly unheard of.
